(1) Smashana Kali—And The Sadhaka

The 1008 names of Maa Adya MahaKali begins with “Smashana Kali”, in the Kali Sahasranamavali.

It doesn’t accord the Sadhaka the pursuit of going after Smashana Vatikas, in search of Maa. Nor does it encourage you to quit life [karmayog] abruptly and take the path of sanyasa accompanied by vairagya, to go sit physically in the Smashana.

As Acharya rightly quotes, a spiritual being is and has to be spiritually reactive and not the other way around. Unlike the physical being, the spiritual being reacts spiritually, not getting entangled into the deadly, painful pangs of karma attached to it. Hence the reason, react spiritually.

Everything in the path of Adya MahaKali is only to do with spiritual beings and their gyana to embody Maa in every facet of life, living, breathing, dead, alive, walking, creeping, crawling, every minute creation of Her is the divine Amsha of Herself.

Meaning, the path leading to Adya Maha Kali is the one with spiritual abundance, bestowing the Sadhaka of Maa with a valor to engross into the within-The Self, paving way to enlightenment guided by Maa Herself as the Guru. Only she gets to decide the path that has to be followed by the Sadhakas [chosen by Her alone] to attain Her, and spread her Nama in the age of Kali, after 5125 yrs of OBLIVION.

The time has come for the rise of Maa Adya Maha Kali. She now decides to show Herself up to the world, after being immersed into Ganges by Ananda Thakur, back then, the reason being the lack of Bhairava tattva. Contemporarily, when the Bhairava tattva is rising back from the ashes, with He no longer a mere Dwarapala of shketras in the first four heads of Brahma. He is now the Adhipathi of the Fifth head of Brahma, guiding the sadhaks as a Guru to the Adya MahaKali Sampradaya.

Rambling around a bit, I know but the words just flowing and taking form from the fingertips hitting the keyboard! Haha.

[back to form!]

Clearly from the above lines, it is made sure by Maa that all Her devotees not abandoning their KarmaYog, have to stick to the path decoding everything by spiritual means alone.

Thereby, Her first Nama has got a hidden truth in it, apart from merely fathomable to mundane physical beings as “The One Who Resides In The Smashana”. She doesn’t urge Her Sadhaka to run to the Smashana, with a kamandalu in their hands, materialistic bonds ripped apart abruptly, bleeding and will manifest in their next lifetimes, as the wife, mother, father, children still desire an exceptional bond to have their rasa being fulfilled by the Sadhaka, which was left unaddressed by he who ran behind Maa foolishly assuming Her to be an “UNHINGED CREATURE” only residing in the Smashana.

A consequential repercussion of how most people apparently treat Her as the one who is not to be kept within your space of living. Ridiculous!

Going back to the point that She is the one who expects the Sadhaka to hover over the KarmaYog of life exceptionally by embodying staunch Dharma in the heart, clearing their karmic baggage.

She also fastens up your karmic journey in this world, accelerating your Sadhana to reach Her. Not to forget that the planet lord of Maa Kali is Shaneshwara, the one guarding the karmic debts, paying off the deeds, good, bad, and evil, that revert to the doer. A Sadhaka has to keep their KarmaYog at second highest after Maa, in the path of Adya MahaKali.

For she has to be kept higher in every endeavor of life, in every quest of life, playing the roles of homemakers, businessman/woman, students, job holders, deep within having seated Her higher in the “Asana Of Chittha”.

Here, the “Asana of Chittha” has to be debunked to unravel the world of Adya MahaKali. This world pulls out the Sadhaka from the clutches of Her own Maya [for She Herself is MahaMaya], to envision Her Bhaktas to walk “The Path Of Smashana”, not “The Path Of Walking To The Smashana”.

The latter is you being a physical being, not keeping up to the tactics of Maa’s Sadhana of reacting spiritually to every materialistic conquest of life, including that which is metaphysical [She is the massive cosmic energy that births Brahma, Vishnu and Gangadhar].

The former is all about placing Devi higher in the asana of your Chittha, where she seats Herself in the Smashana—called “LIFE”.

Yes, Devi resides on the “Asana of Shava”. Shava Asana—4– :Kali Sahasranamavali. She stands on a corpse of MahaKalaBhairava, as an Adhara.

When you call upon such cosmic force to take over, She makes your life and the core of your being a Smashana. Invoking her Shakti, is equal to transforming oneself into a living, breathing Smashana. You must embody the Smashana where Maa resides.

How do you do that?

To answer that, answer this one first…

Would you rather expect Maa to cut off links from the external world with her Khadga, what you consider to be Maya of Maa? Or cut your own head instead? to control your prana, as did Maa Durga upon invoking her Mother—Maa Adya MahaKali, to slice the head off Rakthabeeja, to capture the flow of blood [prana] only to give it a direction and to create more such beings as Rakthabheeja with outbursting prana for desires of life, now traversed the Maya to flow into the Kappar of Maa where she directs the prana of the Sadhaka [Rakthabheeja], amplifying the Rakthabeeja’s [Sadhaka’s] prana which manifests into numerous forms  to enlighten the others and set path to those suffering.

No prayoga works in the path of Maa Adya MahaKali [or in any sort of sampradaya], as effective as the Bhakti Marga. It is in the Bhakti Marga that the Sadhaka gets to have an interaction with a force that is not even operating as astral, forget operating at the physical level.

You as a Sadhaka making your life into a Smashana, invoking Maa to sit in the asana of Chittha, will purely call for attached detachment and detached attachment, as Acharya states in the video of “States of Samadhi”. A sadhaka of Maa Adya MahaKali is to be witnessing life from the perspective of Smashana, as her very first nama itself makes this clear. As you traverse through the path of Maa Adya MahaKali, it is to be ensured that you walk the path of Smashana. Maa and Kala Bhairava are Smashana Devatas. This solely doesn’t classify the niyamas to run to the Smashana to sit in Their presence and begin your Sadhana. For the Sadhana of Smashana Devatas is not going about it physically, it needs to be approached spiritually by calling them while making your life a Smashana, where you are not operating in the Sthula Sharira, not giving the noose of life in the hands of the Sthula Sharira. The perfect balance between the Sthula, Karan and Sukshma sharira allows the Sadhaka to walk the path of Smashana, by indulging to the level it is required, withdrawing back to their shells of Sadhana, by operating at a level of detachment with optimum attachment essential to finish the KarmaYog, and attached detachment empowering the Sadhaka to deal life’s relations with requisite amount of involvement, not to take on the karma of incurring the debt from forcefully cutting down on an exceptional brother, sister, mother, son, husband, father, friend, relative, wife…which is destined to take birth again not for Dharma Karya, instead to suffer the heart wrenching pain of Karma.

The Smashana Devatas reside in the Smashana for a reason, they witness beings of all the universes—every multiverse turn to dust and ashes, called Bhasma. Let alone humans, they even get to have the glimpse of the Adhipati of the four heads—The Brahma, burnt to ashes at the end of every 311.04 trillion earth years; Brahma of every Universe out there ready to get into dissolution. Being a deity of Smashana, they witness us being born in every Universe, parallely burning our Karmas, and turning to ashes at the end of the day, smeared on Maha Kala, by Maa Adya MahaKali Herself. Even the destiny of the entire cosmos is this very Bhasma smeared in the same fashion.

When you get into the Sadhana of Smashana Devatas, it should be a cake walk for you to inculcate the ability of witnessing your own self burning on the funeral pyre. It is a place where the Deities see you in every Universe ultimately come to the stage of attaining MahaKala in the Bhasma He is Smeared with by Maa. It is when you brace yourself to watch the body of five tattvas, with veins, arteries, capillaries [which is also Devi!], embedded deep within the flesh to burn on the funeral pyre lit by their own kin. The Jeeva’s assumption of identifying with the body with ego, mind and which is entangled in the materialistic relations including natural [blood relations], and acquired ones ending in a moment of breath [prana] snatched away from the Jeeva. Amidst burning, when the Prana leaves the physical body [Sthula Sharira] of the Jeeva, the Jeeva floats above the physical body just to watch his body that he identified himself with, gradually gulped by Agni Deva [the mouth for all the Devatas in the first four heads of Brahma], as though the Jeeva’s body is satisfying the rage and hunger of Agni Deva.

The catch in the Sadhana of Smashana Devatas is that the Sadhakas hold the immense valor to encrypt this rawness in their core, living, dealing with KarmaYog, karmic relationships, solely with this mindset. The Deities grant this ability to the Sadhaka along the course.

That which you identify with Self has to completely vanish to dust [depicting Smashana], to attain that which is so humongous in its presence and is beyond this Cosmos.

As a Sadhaka of Maa Adya MahaKali [whose first name is Smashana Kali], or in particular—the Sadhana of Smashana Kali, you are to perform your everyday duties with utter detachment, play roles in your life with attached detachment, just to observe things as they unveil themselves as a mere manifestation of your Ishta in all that is understood as life. You are to witness things as they go on a limbo, not reacting physically to not to accumulate more Karma, but reacting spiritually by enhancing the ability of sitting in the Smashana with Her, experiencing life’s Rasa as the flashes of dreams, instead of sitting in the physical asana in your home or in the physical Smashana as to do with the physical being calling themselves as Sadhaka of Smashana Kali.

Henceforth, Maa Adya MahaKali IS NOT AN UNHINGED CREATURE to restrict her path to control your prana from that which is considered inauspicious, low and placed outside the spaces of living [considered an auspicious state]. She is not to be expected to control your Prana by residing in a place of banishment from the places regarded as residential to normal humans [as Sadhakas of Maa are called Tantricks and are assumed to perform acts pleasing their own desires by robbing others of their shares].

Whence She who makes the entire cosmos a MahaSmashana, steps into your consciousness, She does so by making your life another. The Sadhana of Smashana Kali is not that of prayogas, siddhis [which of course is followed over course of time, bestowed up on the dear Sadhaka of Maa], black magic, or ritualistic approaches. It is all about you embodying the Smashana, keeping up with the KarmaYog, with an enlightenment of the self, along with Maa kept at the highest.

When She is to be invoked, it should be done only in this way and not any other way around. That is how you become a living, breathing Smashana Sadhaka of Adya MahaKali—Smashana Kali.

So sit back and make your life a funeral pyre, where you offer the Smashana Deities their most beloved “Bhasma” made from the “ashes of you burning your Karma”. That is how you attain them! And that is when you no longer fear Death [of the Sthula Sharira] cause you’ve started burning way back.

“Switch On The JatharAgni of Burning The Karma Within, Resembling That Of The Fire Burning Down The Corpses In The Smashana—To Become The Smashana”

That’s how you get by with the Sadhana of Maa Adya MahaSMASHANAKali.
