“Devi Bleeds…” is an initiative from WOMEN for the WOMEN.
Everyone talks of the moment of abuse, rape, harassment and consequent justice as repercussion.
But, no one speaks of the aftermath! This one’s for the Shakti within all the Devis [women]…
As my Acharya says, “Every Woman embodies the Shakti [281, Kali Sahasranamavali] of DEVI, for she is DEVI herself. Devi has a desire [kamini-386, Kali Sahasranamavali] to live life through you, via residing in you after being summoned by the sadhaka. The Devi in you bleeds to project certain aspects of life, setting the divine play, discrete to every sadhaka, to be experienced blissfully, inculcate the gyana, and uplift those enduring this turmoil [Quoting Sri Krishna’s [362, Kali Sahasranamavali] teaching].”
Hailing from a painful life as a woman, and staunch roots deepened into spirituality, strengthened me bring this up to you all. Abuse has always been a critical, mind bending arena to live through.
If life were a ladder, every step that I took to develop physically, there’s an abuse that I could recall and lament on!
Every child deserves an abuse-free environment, irrespective of gender.
Although, the lawful jurisdictions exist,
One woman reports a rape every 15 minutes in India
Brazil: A woman raped every 8 minutes
Addiction to porn leading to rise in sexual crimes, say psychiatrists
AGENDA: This is the call for all the women out there, who’ve been in my shoes, in plight with PTSD, trauma, insecurities. With a purpose of this making it reach to people all around the world, to help them see through things [apparently; cause they’re thick skinned to all that goes around them. Appalling! that they need some external guidance to do the same], not just during the act or what the judiciary decodes in the process of court trials, it emphasizes on what befalls on a woman, post the event.
At Devi Bleeds, we’re not just trying to provide a safe, constructive, feel good space for Shaktis but also a site where you get to share your end of the trauma, let the world know the pain, sufferings that you hid under your sheets of your bedroom, in the midst of the night, dealing things alone, a nightmare to you whilst a sight of pleasure for the accused. This initiative is inspired from 370 Million girls and women who’ve been preyed upon according to the UNICEF reports. Devi Bleeds belongs to every single one of them, every woman and any victim regardless of the gender for that matter! Every woman out there has got stories to tell the world, and never did the world give them an ear. All the pain piled up in the shell that we build around the trauma when it remains unaddressed by people around. Hatch To Heal: Send us your hatch (experience of the abuse/rape/assualt) that could help people overcome it at devibleeds@gmail.com
Send us what you had to go through as an aftermath of what has happened [remember, the abuse has no precise definition; varies as per the susceptibility and sensitivity of our mindset]. Nobody deserves any sort of abuse…
You could choose to be anonymous as well. Hoping this initiative helps you heal and opens up the portal to the world, while it couldn’t ever get to the other side in reality; if not, stayed in the dark forever!
Numerous voices suppressed, concealed. Witnessed many victim suicides, accused granted vague parole and remained unsentenced.
Time to shatter the darkness of the evil!
Let’s create a healthy space for Shaktis, with pure anonymity to help each other grow and experience life. The ultimate goal of this initiative will be updated as soon as possible…
